Why We Regret Laziness
The hidden price of a lazy spirit and why “a little sleep” costs more than we realize.
Laziness always feels harmless—until it robs you.
Not just of time, but of identity, responsibility, and purpose.
The Bible says: “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep…”
And what follows? Poverty. Lack. Regret.
Why do we expect to receive a harvest from God when we give Him nothing to work with?
We ask for transformation while planting seeds of avoidance.
We expect spiritual growth while feeding the flesh.
The formula is simple:
Be. Do. Do. Have.
But we want the “have” without the “do.”
The reward without the discipline.
The outcome without the obedience.
If we give God little, we reap little.
But when we offer much—even when it hurts—we reap in abundance.
It’s not complicated. But the simplest things are often the hardest to do.
Especially when your laziness is disguised as “rest,” “self-care,” or “waiting on confirmation.”
Wake up.
Move.
Obey.
You’ll never regret giving your best to God.
But you will regret wasting time He gave you to work.
~ Praise God
