Tools Don’t Make the Master

People chase better tools—better pens, better setups, better circumstances. But the tools don’t do the work. The master does. A cheap pen in the right hand produces more than the best pen in the wrong one.

Stop waiting for conditions to be perfect. Use what’s in your hand now, and the work will sharpen you.
