Most people want a different life.

More money.

More freedom.

More opportunity.

More impact.

Yet many spend their days avoiding the very activities that would produce those outcomes.

The strange thing about life is that the solution is often found inside the problem.

The salesperson wants more sales but avoids knocking doors.

The writer wants a finished book but avoids writing.

The athlete wants victory but avoids difficult training.

The way out of the field is in the field.

Resistance gathers around the activities that matter most.

That resistance is not proof that you’re moving the wrong direction.

Many times, it is proof that you’ve found the right one.

The activities with the greatest impact on your future are often the activities your mind fights the hardest.

The question is not:

“Do you feel like doing it?”

The question is:

“Will you do it anyway?”

Every day you delay, the gap grows wider between who you are and who you could become.

The field remains.

The work remains.

The opportunity remains.

The only thing that changes is whether or not you walk into it.

Reflection Question:

What activity have you been avoiding that would create the greatest positive change in your life if you committed to it today?

~ Praise God
