The War Within

Some days the greatest enemy you face is not out there — it’s in here.

The war within doesn’t announce itself politely. It shows up as frustration, isolation, resistance to people, even resistance to the very purpose you’ve been called to fulfill. You don’t always want to speak. You don’t always want to write. You don’t always want to fight.

But here’s the truth: refusing the war doesn’t end it. It only gives the enemy more ground.

The desire to truly live is not a rejection of life but a rejection of the hollow version of yourself. You know deep down you were created for more. That’s why the misery hits so hard — because you can feel the distance between who you are and who you’re meant to be.

Don’t confuse the war within as a sign you’re failing. It’s proof you’re still in the fight. The real danger isn’t the battle — it’s surrender.
