We all have two voices.
The voice of weakness β subtle, sly, always negotiating.
And the voice of strength β firm, sharp, always building.
Every time youβre about to grow, the voice of weakness speaks up:
βYouβve done enough.β
βTake it easy.β
βYou can do more tomorrow.β
And every time, you have a choice β
Who will you feed?
In the gym today, I was walking weights 25 yards in one hand and 25 yards back in the other to count for one rep. The voice of weakness kicked in at 3 reps.
The voice of weakness said, βYou only have to do 5 and you can stop.β
But the voice of strength whispered, βDo 6.β
I obeyed.
Then as if catching its prey in a trap, the voice of strength smirked and yelled this time:
βDO 10.β
It became impossible to ignore. βYou already did 6, you might as well do 10!β
Thatβs how we become unbreakable β
Not by avoiding the pain,
But by training ourselves to listen to the right voice when pain shows up.
Whoever you listen to is the one who will show up as the driver in the other areas of your life.
When thereβs pain and when thereβs no pain.
The weak voice will always speak.
Your job is to turn the volume up on the other one.
Choose wisely.
