We finish books.

Highlight pages.

Collect ideas.

Then do absolutely nothing with them.

Knowledge becomes far more valuable when it has somewhere to go.

That’s why I’ve started thinking differently about reading.

Instead of asking,

“What can I learn?”

I ask,

“What can I eventually teach?”

That single question changes how I pay attention.

I read slower.

I think deeper.

I look for principles instead of quotes.

The purpose isn’t simply to know more.

It’s to become more useful.

Every great teacher was first a devoted student.

The people with the most to say are often the people who’ve spent years quietly listening.

Read.

Reflect.

Apply.

Then pass it on.

Knowledge compounds when it’s shared.
