Permanent Sleep vs. Permanent Surrender
One is escape. The other is obedience. And only one of them ends with resurrection.
Some nights, the idea of “permanent sleep” sounds peaceful.
No more pressure. No more failure. No more pretending.
But deep down, you know what that voice is:
Escape, dressed in false comfort.
But there’s another path. One just as quiet.
Just as painful.
It’s not death—it’s surrender.
Not to the enemy. Not to the pain.
But to the only One who sees all of it and still says, “Come to Me.”
You don’t need to disappear.
You need to lay your sword down at His feet, not at your own grave.
Let go.
Not of life—but of the weight you weren’t built to carry.
Surrender doesn’t end in silence.
It ends in resurrection.
~ Praise God
