Never Waste the Time
Why your brain needs discipline, not distraction.
We live in a world that wants you numb.
Not stupid—numb.
So it plants this idea:
“What’s the point of learning so much if you don’t retain it all?”
But that idea isn’t wisdom. It’s an excuse.
It doesn’t come from someone who’s sharpening their mind.
It comes from someone who’s losing it.
Even if you forget 90% of what you consume, the 10% you retain can change your life.
And your subconscious is absorbing more than you realize.
The real question isn’t whether you retain everything.
It’s what you’re choosing to consume in the first place.
Mindless noise?
Or mind-shaping truths?
See, your brain doesn’t turn off.
It’s always listening.
And that means you’re either programming it
or poisoning it.
That’s why wisdom compounds for some
and foolishness compounds for others.
The problem isn’t that we read too much.
The problem is we feed the mind like it doesn’t matter.
But it does.
Because every word is either
building a blade or
blunting your edge.
