Friction Is the Silent Thief of Momentum
Why small gaps between actions cost more than you think.
Every pause between tasks drains energy.
Not because rest is bad — but because unnecessary friction forces the mind to renegotiate. Each decision pulls you out of flow and back into resistance.
The goal isn’t intensity.
The goal is seamlessness.
When actions connect naturally, consistency becomes automatic. You stop relying on willpower and start operating from rhythm. This is how output doubles without working longer hours.
Ask better questions:
Where does friction appear in your day?
Which transitions feel heavy?
What could be prepared in advance to keep momentum alive?
Remove friction, and consistency stops feeling heroic.
Reflection Question:
Where is friction quietly slowing you down right now?
